Keçikaya & Bozçakır HPPs

H2O is in the process of acquiring final licenses to build and operate two innovative small-scale hydropower plants — Keçikaya and Bozçakır HPPs — along the Ankara River, a tributary of the Sakarya River, approximately 50 km west of Ankara, Turkey. Both projects are located within the administrative boundaries of Sincan, Ayaş, and Polatlı districts and are scheduled for commissioning by 2026–2027.

These projects showcase H2O's continued commitment to sustainable energy solutions through modular cascade systems, Archimedean Screw Turbines, and Inflatable Rubber Dams — setting new standards in eco-friendly power generation.

Keçikaya HPP (Under Development)

Location: Downstream of Tatlar Wastewater Treatment Plant, upstream of Çağlar HPP

This project demonstrates the benefits of low-head hydropower technology with high-efficiency turbines and modular scalability.

Bozçakır HPP (Under Development)
