The Dost Agropark Smart Agricultural Village project, implemented in the village of Agalı in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, is a pilot project showcasing sustainable development and renewable energy use as part of smart village and recreational development.

Commissioned in 2022, the project features an innovative hydropower system utilizing three Archimedean Screw Turbines, each with a capacity of 212 kW, bringing the total installed capacity to 636 kW. Energy is generated through the use of an inflatable rubber dam with a length from 19 to 30 meters, ensuring efficient water flow control.

The system is designed to generate approximately 5,500 MWh of electricity annually, contributing significantly to the energy needs of the smart village while promoting environmentally conscious infrastructure in post-conflict rural development.
